SIR ELTON'S CHARITY DIRECTOR DIES

The executive director of SIR ELTON JOHN's AIDS Foundation has died, aged 62.
Robert Key passed away on Thursday (15Oct09) following a bone-marrow transplant.
Sir Elton established the charity, which supports HIV prevention programs, in 1992 and appointed his good friend Key to head up the British branch the following year (93).
Key was appointed Member of the British Empire (MBE) in 2008 for his charitable work.
Prior to his work with the charity, Key was the international manager of Rocket Records, the label founded by Sir Elton in 1972.
Key is survived by his partner, Gerry Lane.
