SIR ELTON RE-SIGNS AT WATFORD?

SIR ELTON JOHN could be making a return to his role as honorary life president of a British soccer club.
The music legend stepped down from his position at Watford Football Club last year (Oct08) because of differences between him and chairman Graham Simpson.
But Simpson has since left his post - and John has already accepted an invite to revisit the ground, according to the club's manager Brendan Rodgers.
He tells Britain's Daily Express, "He is one of the most iconic figures associated with Watford Football Club. People like Elton John have been involved here for many years. For me it is important that people like that have a part in the future as well.
"I was delighted when he accepted my invitation... and he was great with the players and staff. He rang me later when he got home, thanking me for the day."
