SIR ALAN: MAKE MONEY, NOT LOVE

Sir Alan Sugar has said he finds making money better than sex.

Asked if he agreed with one of the contestants on the new series of his BBC show The Apprentice who had said he preferred making money, Sir Alan said money was definitely his priority.

"I don't know, it very much depends," the 60-year-old said.

"You should have asked me that question 30 years ago. Now definitely making money is my priority."

The fifth series of The Apprentice has already seen its first casualty, with one of the contestants pulling out of the show before even meeting Sir Alan for the first time.

Speaking about the incident, Sir Alan said: "I personally don't know who he is. I never met the fella.

"I think he got to his hotel room and realised he had left his family for 12 weeks and what he had let himself in for. I think the reality hit home and that's what's done him in."

The former Amstrad boss has said the new series will reflect the current financial crisis.

The new series of The Apprentice starts on BBC1 on Wednesday March 25th.
