American singer CONNIE FRANCIS is "doing well" after she was hospitalised with high blood pressure on Saturday (26Jul08).
The Who's Sorry Now? hitmaker, 69, was forced to cancel a performance in New York as a result of the health scare.
She was admitted to the city's Long Island Jewish Medical Center's coronary care unit, where she is expected to remain for one week for further observation.
A spokesman for the star says, "She's doing well."
