SINGER BOWERS HELD ON DRINK-DRIVE RAP

Former British boy band singer DANE BOWERS has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving - following a car crash outside the home of reality TV star KATIE PRICE.
Bowers, who dated Price before her doomed marriage to Aussie singer Peter Andre, was held by cops after they found him and a pal standing next to a wrecked vehicle in Surrey, south England in the early hours of Tuesday (26May09).
The singer, a former member of 1990s band Another Level, told officers he was not involved in the crash as he had been with Price at the time, according to British newspaper The Sun.
He was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after failing to provide a breath test. Police are expected to interview Price as part of their investigation into the crash.
