SIMPSON SLAMS PRETTY WOMAN RUMOURS
JESSICA SIMPSON has slammed claims she has signed to star in a remake of movie PRETTY WOMAN. An American tabloid claimed the actress had agreed to take on the role of a prostitute, played by Julia Roberts, in the 1990 original. It quoted a source revealing, "This one's got 'hit' written all over it. Her father (and manager) Joe has been telling anyone who will listen that she's the next Julia." But Simpson's publicist has told TheCelebrityTruth.com, "There is no truth to this. Jessica is in Nashville recording a country album."
