Jessica Simpson - Simpson Reaches Out To Curvy Girls

JESSICA SIMPSON is determined to create a new line of dresses aimed at women of "every figure" - insisting she knows how to help "curvy" girls.

Simpson hit the headlines recently after she was pictured looking notably heavier on-stage at a concert in Florida last month (Jan09).

The photos prompted criticism for her weight gain - with the star's sister Ashlee branding the media attention "embarrassing and belittling" in an angry rant on her blog.

And now Simpson - who owns her own self-named fashion brand - has spoken out about the pressure facing women to remain thin.

In an interview in the latest issue of In Style magazine, Simpson reveals her fashion plans.

She says, "I want to create clothes that flatter every figure. I know how a dress can make you feel so frumpy. We want to reach every type of person.

"I know what flatters a woman, and trust me, I’ve been judged a lot in my life. By now I know what works if you’re curvy.”
