SIMPLE LIFE FACES HARD REALITY: IT'S OVER

Apparently decision makers at the E! Entertainment Channel have concluded that Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie will never adjust to the simple life and have therefore decided to cancel their program. They announced Monday that the series finale of The Simple Life, which launched in 2003, will air next Sunday.
