SIMMONS IS THROWING A PARTY FOR TURKEYS

Hip-Hop mogul RUSSELL SIMMONS is convinced his guests at a special Thanksgiving party will gobble down all the food on offer - he's hosting a benefit brunch for a turkey welfare charity.
The vegan music tycoon is holding a fundraiser for Farm Sanctuary's Celebration For the Turkeys, which rescues the birds from certain death over the Thanksgiving holidays later this month (Nov09).
Guests "will enjoy an intimate, family-style vegan Thanksgiving brunch" with a "cruelty-free menu."
The event is set to be held on 22 November (09) and will feature a silent auction to raise donations for the Adopt-A-Turkey Project.
