SIENNA: "NEVER DESPERATE TO BE FAMOUS"

Sienna Miller, star of Casanova and Layer Cake has said that achieving fame was never one of her goals in life.

Speaking to W magazine, the fashion icon said: "I was just never desperate to be famous, which I know sounds clichéd and probably like a lie, but it is, in my case, very true…and that's the irony of my situation."

The actress is well known for fiery on-off relationship with Alfie co-star Jude Law but says it was never her intention to become so high-profile.

Sienna, whose boho look has inspired the UK high street for the past two years, said of her relationship with Law: "I fell in love with someone very, very famous, and that's beyond all of our control. Strategically I probably could have analyzed it at the time and thought, `This could potentially be very damaging,' but that was a very beautiful period of my life."

The 24 year old star added: "It just becomes this soap opera…and I guess I had a pretty good few episodes."

Sienna is currently promoting her new film Factory Girl were she plays Edie Sedgwick, the muse of iconic pop artist, Andy Warhol.
