SIEBEL TO MARRY MAYOR NEWSOM

Actress JENNIFER SIEBEL is to wed San Francisco Mayor GAVIN NEWSOM, after a romantic proposal while on vacation in Hawaii. The In the Valley of Elah star, 33, has been dating the politician for over a year and supported Newsom when he publicly admitted a drinking problem and an affair with a former employee's wife back in February (07). Siebel accepted Newsom's proposal at the weekend (29/30Dec07), but a date for the couple's wedding has not been set, according to their close friend Stanlee Gatti. The marriage will be Siebel's first and Newsom's second. He divorced Kimberly Guilfoyle in March 2006 after a four-year union.
