SHUE DEDICATES NEW MOVIE TO DEAD BROTHER
LEAVING LAS VEGAS star ELISABETH SHUE's new film, GRACIE, is dedicated to her late brother who fell to his death from a tree when he was 27.
The actress, who was 24 when her brother WILLIAM died, admits she has never got over the tragedy and the new film, in which she plays the mother of a teenager coming to terms with a sibling's death, helped her deal with the loss.
She says, "The shock of him dying, it never really goes away. I did not know how meaningful he was in my life until he was gone.
"It (Gracie) was the first time I was telling a story that really meant something to me. I think that is incredibly important."
