SHIELDS FRONTS GIRL POWER CAMPAIGN

Actress BROOKE SHIELDS is fronting a new campaign to encourage women to build their self-confidence through the power of female friendships. The 41-year-old mother-of-two daughters is the spokeswoman for the Chain Of Confidence campaign and is promoting the bonding advantages of girl power. She says, "If I give my kids anything, I'm hoping I give them the ability to be self-confident... Our society is not based on that. "The advice I'd give to mothers is it's OK to be strong and confident, communication is so important. There's so much more that's important besides your looks."
