DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star NICOLLETTE SHERIDAN has laughed off rumours she will be kicked off the hit show at the end of its fifth season. The sexy 44-year-old has been at the centre of internet rumours claiming she is to be fired from the programme and her character Edie Britt killed off. But Sheridan has denied the speculation, insisting her character is set for some explosive storylines - even hinting that she will be the only star left in the sitcom. She tells U.S. TV show Extra, "Please! Edie's going to be causing trouble. The househags have done terrible, terrible things to Edie. "There will only be one moment of true revenge when all of them are gone, and Edie remains!"
