SHEEN TO PLAY BRIAN CLOUGH IN SOCCER BIOPIC
The British star who has portrayed TONY BLAIR and TV personality DAVID FROST on the big screen is to star in a new biopic about English soccer legend BRIAN CLOUGH.
Michael Sheen, who played Blair in The Queen and who plays Frost in new movie Frost/Nixon, has reteamed with both films' screenwriter Peter Morgan for The Damned Utd.
Revered Clough became one of the most respected managers in English soccer in the late 1970s and 1980s, when he led Nottingham Forest to league and European championship successes. He died in 2004, aged 69.
