LATEST: Actor CHARLIE SHEEN has confirmed he and his new wife BROOKE MUELLER are expecting a baby, insisting the mother-to-be will make "an amazing mom".
The happy news broke early on Monday (25Aug08) and Sheen was quick to comment, admitting, "Brooke and I are thrilled!"
The actor used the official announcement to heap praise on his wife of three months.
In a statement, Sheen said, "She’s the best stepmom Sam, Lola and Cassandra could ever hope for. Seeing her love and affection with those three, I know she’ll be an amazing mom."
And Sheen is quietly hoping for a son after fathering three daughters, adding, "Unless I bat 100 per cent, perhaps a boy awaits us.”
