SHATNER'S STAR TREK PAST HELPS HIM AVOID SPEEDING FINES
STAR TREK star WILLIAM SHATNER always escapes speeding fines because he's polite to the police and signs anything they ask him to.
The actor admits that being a part of TV history is just as good as being an attractive lady when it comes to dodging tickets.
He explains, "I always agree with whatever they say and I always call them 'Sir'. Most of them like to have a chat about when I was on Star Trek.
"Then they say, 'OK, Bill, not so fast next time.'"
