SHATNER GOES GANGSTER IN SOPRANO STYLE CARTOON
WILLIAM SHATNER is taking on the animation world - as a cartoon Mafia Don.
The Star Trek legend is lending his famous voice to new cartoon series The Gavones, which is shown on social networking site YouTube.
The short animated feature tells the tale of a family of Mafiosos who intend to break into Hollywood movies.
And Shatner - who plays the head of the family, Don Salmonella Gavone, likens his latest project to both The Simpsons and hit U.S. gangster series The Sopranos.
He tells People.Com, "It is the Mafia in Hollywood trying to make a hit - and half the family think it's murder and the other half thinks it's a movie. It's a comedic Soprano family."
