SHARON WALKS OUT OF X-FACTOR

X-Factor judge Sharon Osbourne sensationally walked out of the ITV talent show last after being forced to choose between two of her three acts.

During last night's live show, Kimberley Southwick and Alisha Bennett both faced being sent home after underwhelming performances.

But Osbourne - who's in the charge of the under-25s category during this year's show - told host Dermot O'Leary that she couldn't choose between the two girls, before walking out.

A stunned O'Leary told viewers: "Sharon can't choose between her acts. The final vote will be between three judges, as Sharon has decided to leave [for] the night."

The News of the World claims Osbourne screamed: "I'm out - gone!", before leaving the studio.

An X-Factor spokeswoman told the BBC: "Sharon was obviously very upset that two of her acts were in the bottom two last night."

As for Sharon's return to the show, she commented: "We're waiting to hear but hopefully she'll be back with us next week."

The final vote to decide between Kimberly - who had performed It's Raining Men - and Alisha, who sang Gabrielle's Dreams - was left to remaining judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Dannii Minogue.

Minogue, who eventually voted for Alisha, struggled to decide at first, saying: "Can I sit this one out too? I can't choose."

But Cowell and Walsh both plumped for Kimberley, sending the 19-year-old barmaid home.
