SEYMOUR SUFFERED MISCARRIAGE ON LIVE TV
JANE SEYMOUR was reluctant to compete in TV reality show DANCING WITH THE STARS because live television brings back terrible memories for the actress. The Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman star was hosting the Tournament of Roses parade in Pasadena, California in 1993 when she suffered a miscarriage. She tells U.S. news show Entertainment Tonight, "I actually lost a pregnancy live on television, announcing the Rose Parade, but nobody knew at the time. "I think that was pretty horrendous. Maybe I shouldn't be doing live television."
