SEYMOUR ISSUED PUBLIC-DISTURBANCE SUMMONS
STEPHANIE SEYMOUR has been handed a public-disturbance summons after lashing out against a security guard hired by her estranged husband PETER BRANT - days after one of his staff was charged with shoving the former supermodel.
Joseph Babnik, 50, was arrested on Thursday (04Jun09) and charged with disorderly conduct following an altercation with the supermodel at the Connecticut home she shares with Brant.
Seymour, 39, filed for divorce from Brant in March (09) after nearly 14 years of marriage and the estranged couple now live in separate quarters at their country estate.
Seymour alleges Babnik attempted to block her from entering the main house and pushed her into a screen door as she attempted to get away from him.
But the former Victoria's Secret model found herself being reprimanded by police on Saturday (06Jun09), after taking the keys out of a Brant-hired security guard's car, throwing them into the bushes and using her Range Rover to block the driveway of their shared home, according to Police Lieutenant Richard Cochran.
Seymour has since hired her own guards, reports the New York Post.
A spokesperson for Brant, who was in Europe, said he "was disappointed" by Seymour's actions.
