SEYFRIED'S HORROR AT OSCAR PERFORMANCE

AMANDA SEYFRIED was devastated when she tripped down the stairs during her all-singing, all-dancing appearance at the Oscars - because she had performed the routine perfectly during rehearsals.
The Mamma Mia! actress teamed up with her co-star and boyfriend Dominic Cooper to sing the movie's theme tune at this year's (09) Academy Awards.
Seyfried was confident her and Cooper would impress the star-studded crowd after a perfect practice - but the 23 year old caught her heel in her outfit and stumbled over during the routine.
She tells Britain's InStyle magazine, "The evening before the ceremony, we rehearsed all night and at the dress rehearsal on the day, we nailed it. But during the actual Oscars show, it was a disaster.
"I fell down the stairs! Just as well Dominic was holding my hand or I'd have been on my a**. Then my heel got caught in my fishnets during one of the really important turns."
