SEX PISTOL HINTS AT NEW ALBUM PLANS

Punk legends the SEX PISTOLS are set for a recording comeback in 2009 - they are considering the possibility of a new album.
The controversial rockers released only one studio LP during their 1970s heyday.
They reunited for a comeback tour in 1996 and have played several concerts since then - but have stayed out of the recording studio.
However, original bass player Glen Matlock, who was replaced by Sid Vicious at the height of the band's fame, has hinted a new album might be forthcoming next year (09).
He tells website TheQuietus, "The Sex Pistols? We've done our bit this year... we'll meet again in the new year and see what we want to do.
"We were not recording a new album (in 2008) - I think that journalists are making it up, but you can never say never. We all got ideas between us. It's a double-edged sword; if you do it not good as the original, and if you don't do it people want to know why - but it's up to us. We are the masters of our own destiny."
