SEWELL FEARS BULKING UP FOR ROLES

A KNIGHTS TALE star RUFUS SEWELL is terrified he will be asked to put on weight for a movie role - because he would have trouble shedding the pounds afterwards. The British actor was teased for being overweight as a child and fears if he was required to bulk up to play a character, he would never be slim again. He says, "I'd be happy to put on five stone but whether I could lose it... For me that's a complicated one because this not obviously tubby exterior is hard-won." But the 39-year-old insists he doesn't want to be labelled a heart-throb either: "I don't want to be regarded as that type of actor. I'm as vain as the next person. When I'm playing someone attractive I want to look attractive. But my vanity as an actor is also about how ugly I can be. "
