SCORSESE QUITS MARLEY MOVIE
Moviemaker MARTIN SCORSESE has been forced to step down as the director of a new BOB MARLEY documentary due to scheduling conflicts.
The Oscar winner, who won acclaim for his recent Rolling Stones concert film Shine A Light, has been replaced by Jonathan Demme, who made Talking Heads' film Stop Making Sense and Neil Young: Heart of Gold.
The Marley film will be released to coincide with what would have been the reggae icon's 65th birthday in February, 2010.
