SCOOCH ANGRY WITH CHURCH COMMENTS

Members of the UK's Eurovision band SCOOCH have hit out at CHARLOTTE CHURCH for describing their song as "absolute s**t". Scooch's FLYING THE FLAG (FOR YOU) was voted on BBC TV contest MAKING YOUR MIND UP to represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki, Finland on 12 May (07). But outspoken Church is appalled by the track and found Scooch's televised performance on the show "made every pore of my body itch with embarrassment". Scooch's RUSS SPENCER says, "What a pity that the voice of an angel has acquired the mouth of a sewer." Bandmate DAVID DUCASSE adds, "The British public voted for us, so we would hope that their opinion would be respected."
