SCIENTISTS TO 'STEAL' EDITORS' SOUND

WE ARE SCIENTISTS frontman KEITH MURRAY loves rock rivals EDITORS so much, he wants to steal as much of their unrecorded material as possible to improve his own sound. The US rockers can't wait to catch the Mercury Prize nominees at English rock festival V next month (AUG06), so they can rip off a few of their basslines. He says, "We've played close to 100 shows with Editors but I've yet to grow tired of them. "I do know they'll be playing new stuff at V festival they haven't recorded, which means there's a chance we can steal their ideas before they actually put them down on tape."
