SCHWARZENEGGER SIGNS WEST BILL

California Governor ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER has tightened up the state's laws on cosmetic surgery, signing a bill inspired by the tragic death of KANYE WEST's mother.
Donda West died of heart failure in November 2007, just a day after she went under the knife at a California clinic.
The bill introduces the Donda West Law which requires anyone undergoing plastic surgery in the state to receive a mandatory physical examination first.
Schwarzenegger vetoed the first phase of the bill last year (08), but has now finally signed it after it was resubmitted in February (09).
