SCHWARZENEGGER SIGNS ANTI-PAPARAZZI BILL

California Governor ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER has paved the way for a string of celebrity lawsuits - he has signed a bill giving stars greater powers to sue over paparazzi pictures.
The Terminator actor has put pen to paper on proposals which toughen up laws surrounding photographers.
The bill includes an amendment which permits lawsuits against media outlets which pay for, and make first use of, material they know was improperly obtained.
Snappers will now face hefty fines of up to $50,000 (£33,000) for taking, and selling, unauthorised photos of celebrities and their children engaged in "personal or familial activity".
The new laws take effect in January (10) and could lead to a string of court actions from disgruntled stars.
