SCHWARZENEGGER ALLOWS TERMINALLY ILL KILLER TO WALK FREE

Action man-turned-California Governor ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER is refusing to block parole for a terminally ill murderer.
The state leader has effectively signed Deborah Peagler's release papers by refusing to stand in the way of plans to free the 49 year old, who has been serving a life sentence since 1983 after pleading guilty to killing her abusive drug dealer boyfriend.
Peagler's supporters expect her to be released over the weekend (21-23Aug09).
Her longtime attorney, Joshua Safran, says, "I’m absolutely ecstatic."
Peagler was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer earlier this year (Feb09).
