SCHREIBER SNUBBED WEST END ROLE - FOR DOG

Hollywood actor LIEV SCHREIBER turned down a role in a West End show - because he couldn't bear to be parted from his dog.
The X-Men star was approached and asked to consider leading the cast of drama Glengarry Glen Ross in London last year (08), but he refused the offer and decided to stay at home in New York with his pet pooch.
He tells Britain's Attitude magazine, "I had an offer about six months ago to do Glengarry Glen Ross but I had a dog at the time and the quarantine laws were very strict and I couldn't see my way through coming to England without my dog."
Schreiber also has two young kids by actress partner Naomi Watts, but they would have been able to travel to London with him.
