SCHERZINGER: 'LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP WITH HAMILTON IS HARD'

PUSSYCAT DOLLS star NICOLE SCHERZINGER relies on phonecalls and impromptu visits from boyfriend LEWIS HAMILTON to keep their romance alive - because they are both so busy with their careers.
The singer has been dating the British Formula 1 ace since they met last year (07), but they're often apart because of their work.
Scherzinger says, "It's hard, we're always in different countries - we live in different countries! But we're very happy with the way things are. We really want to make it work and that's important in a relationship."
But, even though the pair only have snatched moments together, the beauty makes sure they keep in regular contact - and they spend a fortune to keep the romance alive.
She tells Britain's OK! magazine, "We have expensive phone calls. We do last-minute flights to see each other for a couple of hours. We don't have much time, but we make the most of what we have.
"The other day he flew in to see me while I was working. Then we went off for some Italian food and made the most of the precious little time we had."
