SAYER COLLABORATING WITH UNCLE KRACKER
British pop singer LEO SAYER has hit the studio with rapper-turned-country star UNCLE KRACKER to record his new single. The 58-year-old, who enjoyed a string of massive hits in the 1970s, made a surprise return to the top of the UK singles chart in February when DJ MECK reworked his minor hit THUNDER IN MY HEART. And KID ROCK collaborator Uncle Kracker encouraged Sayer to hit all the high notes on the track HAPPY HOUR. Sayer says, "He got me singing in a high voice - the sound that myself, (SIR) ELTON JOHN and the BEE GEES cornered."
