SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE STAR QUITS
SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE writer and comedienne TINA FEY is leaving the programme after nine years to focus on her new sitcom 30 ROCK. Fey is yet to be replaced as the show heads into its 31st season in September (06), and the programme's producers are having to quickly rethink the Weekend Update slot which she co-presented with AMY POEHLER. She tells the New York Daily News, "I think I'm out of the fake news business for a while."
