SARANDON WARNS AGAINST ON-SET AFFAIRS
SUSAN SARANDON has warned off actresses from dating directors - because on-set flings end in disaster.
The Thelma + Louise star embarked on a romance with French director Louis Malle while they were making 1978 film Pretty Baby together.
But Sarandon insists the relationship was doomed from the start, because the power balance between them was too difficult to redefine once the film had wrapped.
She explains, "That was a life lesson, for sure. Louis was 14 years older than me and very sophisticated, and I learned a lot during our relationship.
"The problem was that if you start to sleep with the director when you're making a film, then the dynamic is very hard to change.
She adds, "You're there to make his world happen for him, and that continues after the film is over, too - so when my world started to intrude on his, it didn't go down particularly well."

I guess Susan Sarandon has a tendency to get too close to some people she works with.
She does form strong friendships with her co-stars.
Anyway, one can't help falling in love with Susan Sarandon's charismatic charm and
grace.
Cheers!
