SAIGON MOURNS MOTHER'S DEATH

Rapper SAIGON has put his work commitments on hold following the death of his mother.
The hip-hop star cancelled his engagements to rush to his mum's bedside after she was admitted to hospital in New York.
She passed away on Monday afternoon (19Oct09) and Saigon - real name Brian Carenard - has reached out to his fans, thanking them for their support.
In a series of posts on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "I wanna (sic) thank everyone for all of your kind words and prayers! My mother went to heaven today around 1pm. I've been through a lot (of) hardships in my short life, but this is the most devastating thing I've ever ever had to endure! Thanks everybody! My Mom is looking over all of you. It's just the kinda (sic) person she was and the angel she is now! Thank you all."
