SAIF ALI KHAN SLAMS 'BAR BRAWL' REPORT
Bollywood star SAIF ALI KHAN has blasted reports he got into a bar brawl in New York, branding the article "slanderous". The New York Post claimed the actor stirred up trouble by squabbling with his co-star RANI MUKHERJI and also vexing the owner of the Madame X lounge. Khan, who is in the US to shoot new film TARA RUM PUM, was allegedly picking arguments at the trendy bar after downing shots of Tequila. However, the furious star retorts, "I finished my day's work... and went to a bar for a drink. The owner was a young Indian. He asked me for a couple of pictures with his cousins. He offered to pay for my drinks and told me to come back any time. He was really polite, and so was I. "The next thing I know is the New York Post carries an article that says I had a fight with Rani Mukherji on the set, which was bulls**t, and that I threw my weight around the bar which was slanderous. It's ok to write about an argument on the sets, though I didn't have one. But this? "Misbehaving in public and being a bad boy isn't my scene. I've never misbehaved in public. Someone calls me up from Mumbai and point blank asks if I was thrown out of the bar. It was very humiliating. My immediate reaction was to sue the Post. But now I've decided to dismiss it as nasty Page Six gossip."
