RZEZNIK + SHEILA E. JUDGE NEW BATTLE OF THE BANDS SHOW
THE GOO GOO DOLLS rocker JOHN RZEZNIK and PRINCE's former drummer SHEILA E. have signed up as judges on upcoming reality TV show THE NEXT GREAT AMERICAN BAND.
The pair will be joined by Australian Idol's Ian 'DICko' DICkson and New Zealand Idol's Dominic Bowden on the judging panel for the new series, which is set to air on U.S. network Fox on 19 October (07).
The talent show follows the same format as American Idol - as wannabe bands battle each other to be win audience votes until a group is crowned the winner.

I'm pleased to see that Sheila E continues to receive recoginition as a
talented and skilled female drummer/musician to host a show that will judge
what REAL musicianship should sound like! U Go My Sista! Sheila, It would be
nice if u could show them how it's done!
