RYDER BATTLED DEPRESSION AFTER DEPP SPLIT
Actress WINONA RYDER has opened up about the depression she suffered after splitting up with ex-fiance JOHNNY DEPP.
The break-up was Ryder's first experience of heartbreak and she admits she took it badly, despite it coinciding with the peak of her acting career.
In a new interview with Elle UK, the star doesn't mention Depp by name, but admits her first romance ended shortly after she shot 1992 movie Dracula - and her engagement to the actor ended less than a year later.
Ryder, 37, says, "I had just done Dracula and Edward Scissorhands. I had just had my first real break-up, the first heartbreak.
"And I think it was really ironic because, like, everybody else just thought I had everything in the world... (and) I had no reason to be depressed. Everything was sort of at its peak, but inside I was completely lost.
"I remember feeling, 'I can't complain about anything, because I'm so lucky, I'm so lucky.'"

Yes,I have read that he was also very depressed while filming "What's Eating
Gilbert Grape" which was right after the breakup.I wish they had stayed
together.I thought they made the perfect couple. Not so much with Vanessa.
There's just something about her.... Oh well,if I can't have him I guess
somebody has to. He is so stunningly gorgeous that it actually hurts just to
lokk at him.
OMG, who wouldn't be DEPRESSED after losing JOHNNY! All the success in the
world couldn't replace him.
