RUMOURS ABOUT RUMER TAKING OVER AS LOHAN'S ASSISTANT FALSE

LINDSAY LOHAN has not hired RUMER WILLIS as her new personal assistant, according to media reports in the US. Willis, 18, who is the daughter of BRUCE WILLIS and DEMI MOORE, has been photographed with Lohan recently, sparking rumours that the MEAN GIRLS star had hired her as her new aide. The pair were seen cruising around Los Angeles on Saturday (14OCT06) in Lohan's convertible and stopped by Elixir Tonics and Teas on Melrose Avenue for a beverage. While Lohan waited in the car, Willis ran in and grabbed them both some tea and was later seen carrying Lohan's shopping bags into the Chateau Marmont hotel where she stays when she is in town. The pair were also photographed Friday (13OCT06) in Beverly Hills at the American Cinematheque Awards honouring GEORGE CLOONEY where they shared a kiss on the red carpet. Sources tell American publication Us Weekly that Willis, who is attending the University of Southern California, and Lohan are just good friends.
