Rumer Willis keeps track of her mother Demi Moore by following her postings on social networking website Twitter.

Rumer Willis follows her mum on Twitter so she can keep up-to-date with her life.

The 'Sorority Row' actress has her own page on the social networking site and regularly checks her famous mother Demi Moore's page - which is one of the most followed - so she knows what's happening.

She said: "Yes, I follow my mum. In general the only way people hear about you is through other people's opinions. Usually with the media it gets skewed. To be able to connect with fans and let them know who you are is a really cool thing. I think it's great. I have one, too, but I keep thinking to myself, 'Do people really care if I'm just cooking dinner or doing the laundry."

Rumer also says she's grateful to Demi and her father Bruce Willis for giving her and her two sisters a stable childhood even though they divorced.

She added: "Our parents made the priority us. They decided to put us first, and that, beyond anything, is what did it. I have tonnes of friends whose parents can't be in the same room as each other and it has such an effect on the children and it's so sad. It's something no child should have to deal with. I feel so grateful and so lucky that I've never had to have split holidays and we can all go as one-unit family."
