ROWLING LAUNCHES FRESH APPEAL AGAINST AGENCY
British author J.K. ROWLING has re-launched her bid to prevent a photo agency from selling a photograph of her young son. The Harry Potter creator - real name Joanne Murray - attempted to sue photo agency Big Pictures and Britain's Sunday Express magazine last year (07) after it printed a long-lens photograph of her, her husband and their son David. The publication settled the claim but a London court threw her case against the agency out of court. However, her lawyers are now reviving their case at the Court of Appeal in a bid to block further publication. Rowling's lawyer Richard Spearman says, "The claim is not about the right of the adult. It is about the rights of the child."
