ROURKE HELD FOR QUESTIONING AT NEW YORK AIRPORT

THE WRESTLER star MICKEY ROURKE was reportedly grilled by security officials at a New York airport last week (17Aug09), after trying to board a flight with thousands of dollars in cash.
Rourke was stopped by airport officials at JFK International Airport before jetting out to attend the Sarajevo Film Festival in Bosnia.
According to the New York Daily News, the actor was stopped with two bodyguards at a security checkpoint and questioned for approximately 10 minutes about the amount of money he was carrying while officials carried out a search of his luggage.
It's unknown how much money Rourke had on him, but travellers are required to fill out a customs form if they're carrying more than $10,000 (GBP6,700) out of the U.S.
The actor was allowed to board after officials deemed he was not a security threat.
A spokesperson for the star had not returned requests for comment as WENN went to press.
