ROTH FEELS SORRY FOR HUNKY STARS
British actor TIM ROTH is glad he doesn't look like Hollywood heart-throbs BRAD PITT and JOHNNY DEPP - because it's harder for handsome stars to earn respect. The Reservoir Dogs star feels sorry for good looking screen idols because they run the risk of short careers if they fail to prove themselves as actors. The 46-year-old, who famously turned down the role of Severus Snape in the Harry Potter franchise, says, "It was clear early on that if you have those looks, your career can be brief - that's disturbing. "It's hard for those guys. Sometimes, how they go from boy to man just doesn't work. They have to prove themselves as actors more."

I totally agree. Johnny Depp doesn't have to prove himself as a good actor. He's
fabulous! He is SO talented and shows another side of himself in every new movie
that he's in. For the fans it's just a bonus that he's so extremenly good looking,
too ;o) I love him for his talent, but who can resist those beautiful brown eyes
??
If this story's true, then I have to say I don't know about Brad Pitt but Johnny
never did any tv or films feeling he had to "prove" himself. At first he needed to
pay the rent and ended up liking acting! He's always said he wasn't in it for the
money. If he had done anything that came along, that would have ruined it for him.
He's highly intelligent and always has made the right choices for himself and his
fans, so he'll be one "hunk" who will always have a place in the hearts of his fans!
Even Paul McCartney is in his 60's and he's still lookin good, rockin', and still is
overloaded with fans. He doesn't have to prove himself either.
