ROSS TO MENTOR CONSTANTS ON AMERICAN IDOL

Music legend DIANA ROSS hasn't had time to see the hit film DREAMGIRLS, which is loosely based on her life as a member of THE SUPREMES, but she is making time to appear on her favourite TV show AMERICAN IDOL. The 62-year-old will appear on the US reality competition during the show's sixth season, which started yesterday (16JAN07). She explains, "I'm going to do American Idol. I'm going to be a diva-mentor and I'm going to mentor some of the young people, then I'm going to tour right after - March, April, I'll be on the road again." Ross is planning a world tour to promote her latest album of romantic songs titled I LOVE YOU.

Miss Ross is broke, an alcoholic has-been. She's too old and lazy, can't afford to write and produce her own work, she can only afford to pay other people to let her sing their songs. She's doing American Idol for the cash and attention it will bring her before her lame tour begins. Michael Jackson became Diana Ross, and now Diana Ross is becoming Michael Jackson. BIG YAWN. .

As as lifetime Ross fan i'm dismayed to hear that a star of Ross's stature would appear on a second rate show trying to use her legend status to legitimize their show. I'm also mad that Ross would make a CD of other peoples old love songs, what's wrong with making some of your own over. Miss Ross i love the ground u walk on, but whomever been advising your career choice needs to be replaced with me. Miss Ross do u not realize the status and esteem your held, please uphold the standard! Tell Simon to kiss your ass!
