RONSON TO PRODUCE DURAN DURAN
MARK RONSON is reported to be working with DURAN DURAN on their forthcoming album.
The Birmingham band have been enjoying renewed success since releasing RED CARPRET MASSACRE in 2007.
Ronson who has produced an array of names including KAISER CHIEFS, ROBBIE WILLIAMS and AMY WINEHOUSE is said to be looking forward to the collaboration.
A source told the Sunday Mirror that the producer is confident he can give the former new romantic band a contemporary feel.
"Mark is really excited by the whole project. He thinks he can bring a really fresh sound to the band," the insider said.
Ronson who collaborated with DURAN DURAN at a gig in Paris last summer - won best British male at last year's Brit Awards after releasing a hit album of cover versions.
The pop group enjoyed huge success in their 1980s heyday, with hits such as Wild Boys, Save A Prayer and Rio.
