RONSON SIGNS THE RUMBLE STRIPS

Superproducer MARK RONSON has signed British rockers THE RUMBLE STRIPS to his record label and promised to produce the band's second album.
The Grammy-winner courted the English group after hearing their cover of a track he recorded with singer Amy Winehouse.
And Ronson is delighted that he has now secured the band for his own music label - Allido Records.
He tells NME.com "I came across The Rumble Strips through their cover of Back To Black and Amy and I agreed it was kind of better than our own.
"I picked up their album and fell in love with it. Then I decided I wanted to sign them to my label and work on their next album. It was really as straightforward as that. We're all very excited about this."
The Rumble Strips' new LP is due for release in spring 2009.
