ROMANTIC WILSON LEARNED POLISH FOR PROPOSAL
THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA star PATRICK WILSON asked his future mother-in-law to help him with his Polish, so he could propose in his girlfriend's native tongue.
The romantic actor stunned his partner, actress Dagmar Dominczyk, when he asked her to wed him in Polish.
He says, "I felt she should hear it (proposal) in her native tongue.
"Dag's mom wrote them (words) for me on a little card but I didn't tell her 'til the night before because I knew she'd blab."
Wilson kept working on his language skills throughout the engagement so the couple's wedding vows could be said in both English and Polish in 2005.
He adds, "It was amazing. We got married in a little church in upstate New York."
