ROLLING STONE LIPS LOGO BOUGHT BY U.K. MUSEUM
The original artwork for THE ROLLING STONES' iconic lip and tongue logo has been bought by a British museum.
Officials working for London's Victoria and Albert (V+A) museum purchased the piece in the U.S. for $92,500 (GBP51,375).
The logo, designed in 1970 by artist John Pasche, has been used as the band's emblem ever since.
Pasche sold the artwork to the V+A, who jointly bought the piece with British charity The Art Fund.
