ROGERS HONOURED BY ASCAP

Country star KENNY ROGERS is to be honoured with a lifetime achievement award by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP). The singer will be presented with the ASCAP Golden Note Award to mark his 50-year career in the music industry, joining previous honourees Sir Elton John, Stevie Wonder and Garth Brooks. The event will take place on 15 October (07) at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.
